By introducing a custom feline model and giving players the option to wear the iconic Doom Marine helmet, it offers fans of both franchises a reason to try this out. The warm reception enjoyed by Stray makes for a great addition to the thriving Doom modding community, as evidenced by the Stray Doom Mod. Lastly, like most mods, it requires you to have a working copy of the Doom II base game before playing. It also changes the first-person perspective into a third-person isometric view with a movable camera, which also adds a level of immersion while letting you admire the custom character.
